Applications are now accepted for the 2020 ERS / ERN-LUNG Joint Clinical Training Fellowships. Besides strengthening the collaboration between ERN-LUNG and ERS, this agreement aims to coordinate research and educational efforts in the field of rare diseases in order to improve their prevention, diagnosis and treatment, and to develop and disseminate effective policies and quality guidance.

There are different ERS CTF schemes available in 2020 – each one offering opportunities, particularly to early-career investigators and clinicians, to develop your research career by offering support and funding in clinical research. Within this scheme, the all new ERS/ERN-Lung Joint Fellowship offers funding for qualified clinicians or healthcare professionals currently employed in respiratory medical practice, with specific experience in rare respiratory disease. This scheme will allow applicants to join an established site within ERN-LUNG and gain expertise through specialised training.

We welcome applications from candidates actively engaged in respiratory research or practice, postgraduate degree holders in respiratory medicine or science (MDs, MSc, PhD students, PhD holders), or qualified healthcare professionals (non‐MD).

The CTF application deadline is on 1st October 2020.
